Zimbabwe Test Series and Tri Series
What a great tour to be involved with. To win a test series within five days and to win another One Day tournament for New Zealand is one of the highlights of my career to date.
Even though I did not get on the park in any of the Zimbabwe test, which was disappointing, it was certainly a fantastic series to be a part of. Having Shane Bond back in the team was a massive bonus for us - the skills he brings are truly world class.
I was really happy with the way I bowled throughout the tour. The final of the Tri Series against India was a strange sort of game. We were on top of them for the first seven overs, but things turned very quickly, as they can do when you play against the Indians, especially with the quality of their players.
We pulled it back and bowled really well through the middle and at the end of the innings.Their score of 276 could have been a lot worse. The boys batted very well and we won easily, which meant we had a great night.
We do not get much of a break before our five-week tour of South Africa which is going to be a huge challenge - one that I cannot wait for.
