Chartered Accounting

Phoenix was well known for providing a knowledgeable service to the CA profession and Chartered Accountants in general and this remains a core competency in New Zealand and Australia.  Durno Recruitment continues that service.  Our discreet support for employers and employees in this extremely skill-short market continues to be well regarded. We place candidates at all levels from graduate entry through to Partner/Director and work with practices on business development, succession planning and mergers/acquisitions.

Permanent Staff

We recruit for financial, accounting and managerial roles within the banking, finance and commercial sectors, and have a particular interest in owner-managed businesses.

Finding the right person for each environment is a key ingredient in our success and our respect for the part the new person plays in the business has resulted in most of our work being referred by recommendation.


Executive Teams

With a track record of finding senior management consulting staff within the Chartered Accounting profession, we are also adept at identifying Senior Executives and Managers in the Commercial sector.


Contracting and Executive Leasing

It is often more efficient and more cost effective to hire a competent contractor on a short term or project basis, and we have a loyal stable of people available at short notice. Providing a stand in General Manager or Financial Controller or maternity cover for an Accounts Payable clerk is simple and quick for our Contracting and Executive Leasing Division.
